Project mini-film Restraint and Seclusion: Hear Our Stories
has been selected to screen at the Superfest International Disability Film Festival and will be receiving this year's Advocacy Award, an award recognizing that the film has a pertinent and powerful message for disability justice.
Come celebrate cutting-edge cinema that portrays disability culture in all its diverse and empowering facets. Superfest is the longest running festival of its kind in the world, showcasing an innovative range of juried short films, organized by the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability at San Francisco State University and the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco. Restraint and Seclusion
will be screened in the second session, November 2, 2014, 2-5:30 PM. The event will be attended by individuals in the film: Jino Medina and his mother, Carolina; Peyton Goddard; and Brianna Hammond. Tickets can be purchased HERE
